I produce, mix and master for indie-electronic artists. You keep your vision, I make it sound the way it deserves.
Let's work together →A demo, voice memo, or even just a reference track. Whatever you have is enough.
We produce together. I handle the sound, you steer the direction. Feedback rounds until it feels right.
Fully produced and ready to release. Yours.
I was 16 when I first heard Skrillex and couldn't figure out how a sound like that was even possible. Not the drops. The textures. I had no idea what a synthesizer was. I just knew I needed to understand it.
I spent years learning sound design the slow way. Tweaking things I didn't understand, bouncing mixes at 2am that sounded nothing like what I heard in my head. Eventually I studied Audio Production at SAE Hamburg and got my degree. That frustration of not getting the sound right? I know it well. It's why I can hear what you mean even when you can't quite explain it yet.
Guitar in a metal band. Bass in a pop project. Beats, ambient stuff, electronic, acoustic. Every genre taught me something. How a riff builds tension. How a hook earns its moment. How a single pad can carry more than a full arrangement. All of that is in the work I do now.
Then COVID hit. Lockdown. No gigs, no sessions, no idea what to do next. I ended up studying medicine because it felt like the safe choice. It wasn't. At some point I had to admit what everyone around me already knew: I wasn't going to be a doctor. I was a producer sitting in the wrong building. So I quit. No deal, no plan B.
Today I produce under the name Amita. Somewhere between indie and electronic. Emotional, atmospheric, wide.
I know what it feels like to have a song in your head that you can't get out the way it sounds inside. That gap between the feeling and the finished track? I've spent years learning how to close it.
If you're sitting on an idea that deserves to become a real song, I'd like to help you make it.
What you get
From rough idea to finished song. Here's what's included.
Tell me about your project.
Thanks for reaching out. I'll get back to you soon.
Artists who write their own music, have a vision for how it should sound, and want a creative partner to bring it to life. If you're somewhere between indie and electronic, care more about depth than hype, and want someone who pushes your sound, not just follows instructions, we'll work well together.
That works. A voice memo, a loop, even just a reference track is enough to get started. We can build the rest from there.
Mostly indie-electronic and anything atmospheric or emotional. If you're into Rufus Du Sol, M83 or Porter Robinson, we'll probably get along.
That's what the feedback rounds are for. We shape the track together, step by step. You hear everything along the way. Nothing gets finished without your sign-off.
Yes. Everything happens online. File sharing, feedback, video calls if needed. I've worked with artists from Berlin, Amsterdam, London and LA. Location doesn't matter.
Usually 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how complex the track is and how quickly we go back and forth.
Yes. Mixing and mastering is part of every project. You don't need to book it separately.
Every project is different, so I don't list fixed prices. Fill out the form, tell me what you're working on, and I'll get back to you with a clear number. No surprises.
I get it. A lot of producers just take the brief and disappear for two weeks. I work differently. You're involved the whole time. You hear drafts, give feedback, steer the direction. Nothing happens behind closed doors.
As much as you want to be. Some artists send a demo and let me run with it. Others want to be on a call for every decision. Both work. You'll hear drafts along the way and nothing gets finalized without your green light.

Don't just take my word

"I've worked with producers who just follow instructions. Amita actually pushed my sound somewhere I wouldn't have found alone."
"My track sat unfinished for 8 months. Two weeks with Amita and it was done. Mixed, mastered, ready to go."
"Finally someone who understands the space between indie and electronic. The track sounds exactly how I heard it in my head."
